lyrics
Silhouettes silently stood staring out at the oil black clouds that are hanging over blinking lights and floating cranes and cargo ships, destined for the smoke and smell of foreign lands.
Silhouettes silently start tuning in to the trail of the doom truths, the rancour and antipathy and sorry tales breezing up and out and over coasts and resting in their sores.
No more miles, no more, I cannot travel.
You're something less than undeserving.
Your sea of faces had the features removed.
So we'll take a light to the sails,
the gunwale, hull and the keel.
You're stranded serpentine.
Silhouettes silently start turning back from the brink of some freedom, the brink of the mindless straining drone of "All this tragedy is all tragedy knows...."
The conference considering the issue urges governments to undertake your obligations.
